Openload being taken down due to copyright matters, while GO Unlimited remains active? Funny, hah.

I find it funny how people kept saying DMCA ignored hosts will die faster, while during the period GO Unlimited was active, more than 11 host has been taken down due to copyright matters. The funniest part that they were all responding to the takedown requests they receive.

When I established GO Unlimited in 26 JAN 2016, someone told me I won't stay any longer than one month due to the DMCA ignorance. Well, that guy was the first one who sent me a gift to congrats me for the third year of GO Unlimited.

Some puppies kept saying that DMCA Ignored hosts won't stay for a long term, such as this:

Check the same guy what he said here:

He said:
" Domain names that REALLY ignore the DMCA will be turned off on the Internet. "

In 18 June 2019, Openload.co (the "legit" service that respond to DMCA very quickly) has been taken down by suspending their domain. So I wish that this guy take a look at this thread and laugh at himself.

By 19 DEC 2019, GO Unlimited will complete its fourth year, ignoring DMCA requests and protecting its users, while "legit" services will keep failing. This is not my personal opinion, but a fact you'll can see.

P.S: I have nothing personal against Openload, they were good, but I am talking about the people who putted them as an example for legitimacy thinking they will remain for a very long term if they responded to DMCA requests.

You also remove content, as far as I know, even with inquiries. But just to protect your service. Is that correct?

Hello,

I said we have our own technics but never said we take down our users files to protect our service, if we do so we can’t claim to be DMCA ignored then.
When there is a court order, we do use our technics to protect the user content availability.

It's very complicated. I think the moderator "tango" of wjunction is right at one point.
DMCA ignore hosts will change the way copyright is handled on the internet, I don't think it will be good when changes are made.

The whole thing with DMCA Ignored only became a trend after Gounlimited started with it. The other filehosters or streamhosters went along.

The whole thing with DMCA Ignored is only new and I can imagine that after a year or even shorter time the USA and other countries will start to bring new laws. Datacenters in Holland, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden will be under more pressure.

Wouldn't surprise me if a worldwide headline appeared at some point. Some webmasters of such sites should pay more attention to what is coming to them. It will surely be uncomfortable for some.

Then there is the question whether countries where such content is hosted will also cooperate with the USA. As we all know the USA is the world police nobody likes.

To be fair enough I should say you have a point, but I used to hear that since 2016, and as you see we will celebrate our forth year later this year.

And about other host who wants to clone our idea, unfortunately most if not all of them went down after couple of months if not earlier due to the legal issues they faced, because they thought DMCA Ignored service is simple ignoring the take down requests they receive. Well, this is not they way we used to ignore DMCA.
We do have our own technics that represent us as a legal service to the courts and the governments. That’s a thing the service who’re trying to clone us can’t understand. When we receive a court order, we deal with it, and don’t ignore it at all, but dealing with it doesn’t mean “deleting” the file at all, that’s a complicated thing no one would be able to understand, unfortunately.

So.. I won’t worry.

Speculated information: Openload didn't get taken down by surprise. They voluntarily suspended their services.
Openload knew what was coming. Therefore, they launched VeryStream (Alexa rank=1k).
I believe all the DMCA takedown facade is phony, created by them cause they probably wants divert attention from themselves.

Plus Streamango(Alexa rank=1k) & Streamcherry (Alexa rank=13k) are still up & running (Also known to be owned by same owner)

Regards.

I do agree on this as well. Couple of days ago the owner of Openload publicly said that his income = his resources cost which means he was complaining about his financial situation, and 48 hours after that, their main domain stopped working.
So.. you may be right.

Personally, i think its not funny that you ignore DMCA, Terrorism and etc... What if someone uploads child-porn to your service?

Even if you claimed, that you are based in the Middle-East, you could be still extradited to an country, sooner or later.

It could be that openload.co hosted CP, or Terrorism, etc, that we don't know it, which it gives the Registar a valid Reason to suspend the Domain.

RapidVideo chose the path, that he is banning very few user accounts who have heavy DMCA complaint and also kicking out "movie streaming sites", its something that we dont want to have on our service.

We have the duty to protect the internet well.

Hello buddy,

You know very well that we delete child porn within 30 minutes, we ignore copyright matters not human abuses. :)
